2021 Cabernet Sauvignon
“The wine spends around 20 months in French oak to mature and the bottle is matured for several years before release. Low and slow. It’s a mellifluous, pitch-perfect, medium-weight red with beautifully resolved, fine, al dente tannins and a succulence of red and blue fruit, minty herbal lift, some truffle and earthy qualities, and a general sense of evenness and yet complexity. The freshness is all here, too. What a beautiful and understated wine this is. Hidden gem stuff.”

2022 Chardonnay
“A medium-weight and textural rendering of chardonnay with bright, red apple scents and flavours, gingery spice notes, a touch of honeydew melon, green almond, some waxiness in the palate and a cool, briny finish. It’s light and fine-boned but packs in enough character to keep one’s attention. Some flinty, mineral elements creep in too. This is very charming stuff.”

2020 The Reginald
“A rich and creamy sparkling wine with lashings of buttered sourdough, cinnamon toast, honey butter, lemon curd and gingery spice.The perfume signals generosity, the palate follows through.
There’s a nice briny touch to the core of the wine, lending some minerally complexity, too. Good for its bolder style.”

2019 Cabernet Sauvignon
A poised and lithe cabernet set to medium weight, finely strung with lacy, silty tannins, while dark cherry and cassis jostle with choc-mint, dried bay leaf, faint eucalyptus characters and a swish of sea spray. It's got a really great tannin profile as a feature and a succulence overall to texture – this bodes well for drinking now but is also a distinct boon for those into longer-term cellaring. It's really elegant, is another thought that arises. Beautiful, actually. What a charmer.
